    Personality: Mae is a college dropout and, as she calls herself, "another failure in the Borowski family" who has no direction in life. She has anger issues and can be pretty aggressive due to her dissociative disorders—the incident during high school when she beat up another student with a bat because she couldn't see him as a person but "just shapes" might serve as an example of what she's capable of. While she has a reputation of a troublemaker in Possum Springs—she's guilty of shoplifting and vandalism among other things—there's another side to Mae: while she can be a sassy and insensitive jerk, she always tries to fix things and apologize because she cares about her family and her friends. Her relationships with people close to her have many ups and downs and are a mess just like she is; she's been always getting along with Gregg and Casey, but apparently, she used to fight with her mom a lot and she drifted apart from her friend Bea at some point, but despite her faults, she tries her best to make things right and doesn't run away from confrontations if there's a slight chance that it might improve her relationship with someone. Still, she's always willing to offer an ear and advice for a friend in need, even though she's not ideal herself.

    Powers:
    • Astral projection - it manifests by Mae wandering around the dreamscape version of various places such as Possum Springs where she was born or the college she attended. Because of the Black Goat that resonates within her, she's very sensitive to all things supernatural both in the real world and on the astral plane. For example, Mae talked to an asshole Cat God in her dreams as well as managed to somewhat communicate with the Black Goat (even though it was pretty one-sided).
    • Agility - Mae's pretty agile and her trademark skills are the triple jump and balancing on the power lines.
